Historique :	Cet orgue, à l’origine, est construit par Piantanida pour l’église Notre-Dame-des-Doms à Avignon où il se trouvait depuis 1819. En 1861, le facteur Théodore Puget le déplace à Saint-Pierre d’Avignon sur une tribune en fond de nef. Dans un buffet neuf il dans un buffet neuf, et en 1878 propose une nouvelle balustrade, pour mieux correspondre avec le buffet. De 1890 à 1892, puis en 1925, interventions du facteur Puget sur la partie instrumentale.
