Précision_sur la representation :	Dans un décor architectural antiquisant, la Vierge Marie, figurée sous les traits d’une adolescente, monte les marches du temple. Elle est vêtue d’une tunique blanche ceinte à la taille et d’un manteau bleu. En haut des marches, le prêtre l’accueille de sa main droite placé derrière la tête de Marie, tandis que sa main gauche ouvre le chemin du temple à la jeune fille. Plusieurs personnages vêtus à l’antique entourent la Vierge et le prêtre. L’arrière-plan comporte un paysage, sur la gauche de la composition.
