Précision_sur la representation :	La scène se tient dans un décor intérieur antiquisant, suggérant un temple. Au centre sur la gauche de la composition, un prêtre, vêtu d’une tunique bleu et d’une chlamyde blanche, regarde vers le ciel. Il tient l’Enfant Jésus dans ses bras. Agenouillée à ses pieds et les mains jointes, la Vierge Marie porte une robe rouge et un manteau bleu. Elle est suivie de Joseph, portant une tunique bleu et un manteau brun. Plusieurs personnages participent également à la scène. Dans les cieux apparaissent deux putti au milieu des nuées.
