Historique :	Ce tableau de Sainte Thérèse d'Avila a été acquis à la fermeture du monastère de la Visitation de Sorgues en 2010, par le Chanoine Bréhier. Il semble provenir du couvent de Saint-Eutrope d'Avignon, fermé en 1905. Les dernières sœurs de Saint Eutrope remirent leurs oeuvres d'art, leurs reliques et leur archives aux Visitandines de la rue d'Annannelle, transférées à Sorgues après le guerre. Don du chanoine Bréhier, février 2019.

Précision_sur la representation :	Religieuse auréolée et portant la tenue des carmélites, les bras croisés, le regard tourné vers le ciel. Devant elle, posé sur une table à gauche, une vanité composé d'un crâne et d'un crucifix reposant sur un ouvrage ouvert, (bible ou écrits de Sainte Thérèse). Oeuvre d'une trés belle facture, avec forte influence espagnole.
