Historique :	Peintre de l'entourage de Pierre Parrocel. Le tableau provient de l'ancien archevêché d'Avignon, rue Collège de la croix. Jugé trop grand pour les nouveaux locaux, rue d'Annannelle, il fut attribué à la cathédrale d'Orange, après 1974.

Précision_sur la representation :	Sur la droite de la composition, le prophète Daniel, vêtu d'une toge blanche et d'une chlamyde camel, regarde en direction du ciel. Il porte sa main droite au front afin de protéger ses yeux de la lumière irradiant des cieux, représentés en haut à gauche de la composition, où figurent des anges portant un phylactère. Derrière Daniel, l'ange, vêtu d'une robe bleue et d'une chlamyde rouge, montre le ciel de sa main droite. En arrière-plan, sur la gauche, un paysage s'ouvre dans une trouée lumineuse.
